Background
Schlam Engineering has experienced rapid growth in the last three years. To consolidate this growth, the company formalised processes and aligned business practices with ISO 9001 Accreditation requirements. The team also focused on developing objectives to increase sales targets and improve budgeting and reporting.

Company Background
SPIE CAPAG is a global company specialising in pipeline construction, as well as the operation and maintenance of pipelines. The company began in 1994 and later established an Australian entity to manage a major project. The Australian office is based in Brisbane CBD, while the global head office is in France with multiple branch offices worldwide.
Background
When SPIE CAPAG Australia started, the entity had no office or staff. The team built the operation from scratch, with all changes and developments carefully planned. The project is scheduled for completion in 18 months.
Debra Rothery, Systems Accounts Manager, explains the software challenges:

Debra notes: “ABC Business Solutions customised all of our reports, including French GL and financial reports. They assisted us with multiple onsite visits, phone calls, emails, and remote connections. The remote connections are really good, and ABC developed a link so we can pass information between MYOB EXO Business and Wage Easy, which we use frequently.”
ABC Business Solutions also provided training to ensure SPIE CAPAG staff could confidently use the system and continue to support them for report tweaks, figure balancing, and ongoing updates.
Future Directions
“We started the entity with nothing. Now our business processes and roles are developing the more we use the software. ABC Business Solutions still provides ongoing support, handles our annual license renewals, and assists whenever we have Wage Easy or MYOB EXO Business queries,” says Debra Rothery.
