Our first 17 week bookkeeping course is coming to an end and for both the students and myself I can say the course has been challenging but very rewarding. There is a variety of students participating in the bookkeeping course, all using the different delivery options available. Many of the students have years of bookkeeping experience behind them and are able to draw on this experience to gain increased competency. Feedback from some of the students has been that due to the commitment required, attending classes has proven advantageous as you are in a stimulating environment and the interaction with your piers and the sharing of knowledge has been very beneficial. Studying by distance learning, while suits those working full time or if there are other commitments, for some it does require discipline to stay on course.
As the implementation date for the new BAS legislation draws closer (1 January 2010) now is the time to get motivated and join our next course commencing on 11 November. This 16 week course crosses over the Christmas holidays (we will have a break for four weeks during this time) the break during this period will give you time to catch up on your assignments.
Education is about giving you the skills to advance in your career and the desire to attain what you want out of work and life!
Until next time
